The TRB Awards are designed to highlight the dire, the terminally useless and other Triple Z quality Spectrum games. There are several sub-categories of terribleness with the occasional award praising games, just for balance. There's a synopsis of each type of award on the relevant award page.

This choice selection comes from my own personal experience of playing Speccy games. I've either (unfortunately) intentionally bought them, got them in a compilation or as a 'freebie' on a covertape. There may be other software atrocities that I've not yet stumbled upon...
